The Alberta Low Impact Development Partnership (ALIDP) is hosting Designing for Tomorrow 2018: The Future of Ponds and Wetlands Summit and Training from March 12-15, 2018. The event will provide municipalities the opportunity to learn more about the future of ponds and wetlands, and stormwater management.

The Summit portion (March 12-13) will discuss the challenges in pond and wetland performance, maintenance, policy, planning, and developer and citizen expectations within the realm of stormwater management.    

Training sessions (March 14-15) include Fundamentals of Stormwater Management, for those who are new to the topic, as well as a primer on Low Impact Development, and Introduction to Erosion and Sediment Control. An advanced/emerging topics session is also being developed.
