Environmental hazards or energy solutions? Geophysicists size up energy resources, carbon capture and fracking

Delegates at a conference for the British Geophysical Association in London say that more scientific data should be evaluated when assessing the pros and cons of different energy-related practices. As reported by Science Daily, scientists say that such things as carbon capture and storage or hydraulic fracturing need to be examined carefully, including looking at geophysical data, in order to make informed decisions about their future use.
