Dr. Pennock completes his keynote address to the Alberta Soil Science Workshop by discussing the future challenges of soil science undergraduate and graduate education in Western Canada. In this section, he explains why he thinks soil science needs to get dirtier.
Dr. Dan Pennock is a professor of Soil Science at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Sask. Dr. Pennock was made a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Soil Science in 2009.
