Sharon Willianen, AESRD, talks about the importance of collaboration with stakeholders for the Integrated Resource Management System (IRMS). This project is about describing what it means to build strong relationships with stakeholders, and explaining how this can be done in a deliberate way. This includes working with NGOs, academia, and the public to complete work such as: a multi-stakeholder organizational review and the ESRD Municipal Relationship Strategy.
Willianen discusses the scope of the project, the requirements for success, and their current partner. The work is currently ongoing. This presentation was a part of the Alberta’s WPAC Summit in October 2014, entitled: Water Summit in the Valley: Innovation and Leadership in Sustainable Water Management.
