Dr. Gordon Laxer, founding Director and former head of Parkland Institute and Political Economist and professor emeritus at the University of Alberta, authored and presents a green paper discussing the need to phase out Alberta’s Oil Sands. This green paper on “Resources and People” summarizes current knowledge and science, with a specific focus on carbon (oil and gas), and addresses the choices Albertans must make in management of its resources.
