The article "Assessing the impact of future land-use changes on hydrological proesses in the Elbow River watershed in southern Alberta, Canada" was published in the January 2012 issue of the Journal of Hydrology. The study looked at the Elbow River and the way the watershed has been affected by rapid population growth, and how it is likely to be affected in the future.
