Axel Anderson, Water Program lead at fRI Research, discusses watershed assessment procedures and forest hydrology processes. He talks about the relationship between soils and run-off generation and upcoming research to determine the sources of water at high, medium and low levels of run-off.
As well, he presents information about the identified zones in the watershed, and their identification of where the water is coming from within the hydrograph.
This presentation was a part of the Sustaining Alberta’s Forested Headwaters: Science Symposium, which occurred in November of 2015.
