Welcome to the 2018 7 Cities Housing First Conference! This conference is an annual gathering that celebrates the achievements made in our efforts to end homelessness in the province of Alberta. This conference is an opportunity for Housing First practitioners, as well as leaders in the sector, to assemble, create dialogue, and collaboratively focus our efforts on being as effective and efficient as possible to end homelessness in our communities.
The theme of this year’s conference is
“A Decade of Progess, A Lifetime of Change”, with a focus on the four C’s:
- Celebration - Celebrate our collective impact
- Communication - Learn from our experiences
- Collaboration - Share our best practices
- Creation - Inspire transformative action
We look forward to you joining us to celebrate 10 years of progress and see what future opportunities lie ahead of us.

Conference Check In: The information and check in table will open for registration at 5:00 pm on Monday June 11th and you will remain open until 8:00pm. You must collect your name tag prior to attending the welcome reception or any other conference activities. The information and check in table will open again at 7:45 am on Tuesday June 12th and will be open all day for any inquiries. The information and check in table will once again open at 8:00 am on Wedneday June 13th and will be open for the duration of the conference. **Please note: The table will be closed during Keynote speaker sessions.
Welcome Reception: Please join us Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm for a come and go evening - an opportunity to connect with other conference attendees and network. A casual evening of appetizers and drinks (cash bar) before the conference kicks off Tuesday morning.
