Bryan is a self-described “recovering lawyer” who is constantly dreaming of novel ways to help global enterprises reinvent corporate giving programs to provide better social and business returns, and simultaneously tackle the biggest struggles on the charitable landscape.
Bryan is a frequent speaker and blogger on topics relating to social-good programs and a recognized thought leader in the space. He believes that, with the help of our clients, we’ll shape the story anew and build on our aspirations to create innovative and scalable Goodness Programs that strengthen the social fabric of our communities. His strategic vision and leadership is perfectly paired with the right mix of passion and industry expertise to keep the company, our software and our client service top-notch.
Bryan de Lottinville, Founder and CEO, Benevity
Reid has over 20 years of experience working on complex, multi-sector initiatives that build vibrancy in cities across Canada. With a focus on social purpose real estate, he is passionate about redeveloping historic buildings and shaping urban districts as places for artistic and entrepreneurial communities to innovate and thrive.
Appointed as the founding President and CEO of cSPACE Projects, Reid is leading the development of a network of large scale, multi-disciplinary creative workspaces in Calgary. The flagship project of cSPACE is the redevelopment of a 3-acre, inner city site including a 48,000 sq.f. former sandstone school built in 1912, coworking space, theatre and event venues.
In Toronto, Reid led the cultural planning practice of Office for Urbanism in various cities across Canada. Previous to that role, he led the consulting arm of Artscape, a social enterprise focused on non-profit real estate projects and community development. He was also a freelance consultant on numerous plans for regenerating commercial districts across Toronto’s inner city and worked with a public-private partnership on developing Edmonton’s downtown arts district.
Reid Henry, President and CEO, cSPACE
Prior to co-founding Aspen Properties in 1998, Hutcheson served as President of a real estate partnership in Florida that was financed by an ivy league university endowment fund. He was also previously employed as an investment banker for Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and San Francisco. In addition to his position as Executive Chairman of the Board of Aspen Properties, Hutcheson is an active member in the community serving on numerous boards; he is Chair-elect of the Board of Directors of Arts Commons, Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors for Winterstart (the organization which operates both the men’s and women’s Alpine World Cup ski races at Lake Louise) and serves as Chairman of the Board of WinSport. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Own the Podium and a member of the Board of Governors of Shawnigan Lake School. Hutcheson is the Co-Chair of Calgary Economic Development’s, Real Estate Advisory Committee, and a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (Gold). In the past decade, Hutcheson has served on five public company boards and has been an officer of three TSX companies. He was a member of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team (1978-1982), a first team All-American NCAA athlete and a member of four NCAA Championship Ski Teams. Hutcheson earned a Master of Science degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Utah and holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He has been named one of Alberta’s 50 most influential people by Alberta Venture Magazine.
Scott Hutcheson, Executive Chairman, Aspen Properties
Jyoti Gondek is the newly elected Ward 3 Councillor for the City of Calgary. Prior to this, Jyoti was Director of the Westman Centre for Real Estate Studies at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business, and still maintains the position of adjunct professor with the school. For 12 years prior, she provided consulting services ranging from creating complete communities to fostering healthy corporate cultures. Jyoti is currently a director on the boards of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Alberta and the Design Talks Institute, and serves as an advisor on the National Executive Forum on Public Property. She has been recognized for her contributions to community through the 2012 Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the 2016 Angus Reid Applied Sociology Award.
