Description:
Eco-Buffers are diverse, high-density, shelterbelts that look and act like a natural forest!
Join the Agroforestry and Woodlot Extension Society and the County of Vermilion River for a free, hands-on Eco-Buffer design and planting workshop on June 5th.
The evening will start with a presentation on the benefits of Eco-Buffers and how to design one, then we’ll travel to a nearby site to plant and mulch an Eco-Buffer!
A light dinner will be provided.
Participants should dress for the outdoors and bring their own work gloves and spade/shovel.
