The Canadian Institute of Forestry (CIF-IFC) is hosting a workshop entitled “Integrating Wildland Fire into Forest Management Planning”, focusing on what might be done to manage forest fuels on the landscape thereby reducing risk of wildland fires. The goal is help managers expand their understanding of wildfire and learning how to account for fire in their management of forest lands to sustain resilient forests, industries and communities.
