Description:
DIALOG, in partnership with the Conference Board of Canada (CBoC) has developed a tailored methodology and corresponding set of indicators to:
- Host conversations with communities around topics concerning social, economic, environmental, cultural and political determinants of wellbeing.
- Guide the mission of community leaders, urban planners, architects, engineers and design professionals, with evidence-based knowledge.
- Better inform the creation, implementation, monitoring and evolution of progressive policy, plans and designs, to promote wellbeing.
This session will provide an overview of the methodology, exemplified by some case studies and pilot projects.

Across disciplines, the notion of happiness, sustainability, resilience, safety and health have characterized the wellbeing of communities. This session will explore a new framework of design for community wellbeing.
