Archeologists are working on sites in Southern Alberta that were revealed after the floods of 2013, exposing historically significant sites that were previously unknown. As this CBC News article describes, the floods swept away some archeologically significant sites, but also revealed new ones. A three-year recovery program for paleontological and archeological resources is now underway.
