A new study published this month indicates that wolf culls in Alberta has stabilized the Little Smoky caribou herd. As explained in this Global News report, the wolf cull would need to continue into the future in order to maintain the stabilization, unless additional efforts are undertaken to preserve caribou habitat for this, and other, herds.
