Uldis Silins, a forest hydrologist with the University of Alberta's Department of Renewable Resources, has been awarded the Excellence in Water Stewardship Award from the Council of the Federation. As this University of Alberta news report indicates, the award is for outstanding achievment, innovative practice and leadership in the area of water stewardship.
