Bitter debate over Shawnee Slopes development plans kicks off at City Hall

Local residents are voicing their opinions on proposed land redevelopment in the Shawnee Slopes are of Calgary. According to this Calgary Herald article, the land in question was a golf course but is now slated for residential infill of up to 1400 homes.
