Bow River flood diversion tunnel estimated to cost $500 million

The proposal to build a tunnel to divert water from the Glenmore Resevoir to the Bow River to prevent future flooding could cost $500 million. A feasibility study on the project was released this week, as reported in this Calgary Herald article. The project is one of three flood prevention projects proposed by the Government of Alberta last fall.
