Join Parkland County and the Agroforestry and Woodlot Extension Society on June 26 from 5:30 to 8:30 to learn how you can produce, harvest and process local fruits in a low-tech, ecologically friendly way!
At this workshop you will learn about:
Promising fruit species for Alberta
Designing, establishing, and maintaining your own “food forest”
Low-tech strategies for harvesting and processing fruit
You’ll also have the opportunity to build your own berry sorters, making processing this year’s berry harvest a breeze!
