Canadian prairies shrinking faster than Amazon Rainforest, Great Barrier Reef

Canadian prairies are shrinking in size faster than many other vulnerable landscapes on earth, according to conservationists. As reported here by CTV News, Nature Conservancy Canada says more than 70 per cent of Canada's prairie grasslands have been converted for other uses.
