Canmore's town council heard some results from a forensic investigation into June's flooding, which indicate that flooding could happen again, and could get worse. As this Calgary Herald report indicates, the group working on the study (the Mountain Creek Mitigation Study) has been tasked with preparing suggestions of ways to prevent future flooding problems in the community.
