Climate change could turn focus on prairies for food production

A changing climate will require the agricultural industry to adapt in order to respond to increasing global demand for food production, says a report from the Alberta Institute of Agrologists. As explained in this Calgary Herald article, the report - called Moving Toward Prairie Agriculture 2015 - was written by a group of 23 experts. The green paper was presented at the 2014 AIA conference in Banff last week.
