Committee framing Edmonton's agriculture strategy divided over whether council should pass it

Edmonton's city council is heading today from people for and against "Fresh", the city's proposed food and agriculture strategy document. As reported by the Edmonton Journal, the debate circles largely around northeast Edmonton farmland, and whether it should be preserved as agricultural land or left open for sale and development.  Discussions will continue Friday.  To follow the discussion on Twitter, use the hastag #yegfoodag.
