The Airdrie Village Community Association has given its formal support for urban agriculture in their city. As reported by the Airdrie Echo, the group voted its support for urban agriculture in its various forms as City Council is investigating its own official support. Project support is mixed, with wide approval for community gardens and edible landscapes in public areas, but less support for backyard chickens and beehives.
