Crews are cleaning up the site of an ongoing bitumen leak in northesastern Alberta. The area in the Cold Lake Air Weapons range has seen damage caused by four spills on CNRL project sites. This Edmonton Journal article describes the cleanup efforts, as well as looks at the process of identifying the cause of the leaks. The leaks have been contained, but they have not been stopped.
