Geoscience of Bow River flooding focus of UofC class

University of Calgary geoscience students will have an opportunity to do field research along the Bow River in Calgary this year. The students in Professor Don Lawton's class will be looking at the flooding history of the Bow River, which could help predict what may happen in the future. As this CBC New report explains, the students will be studying the river in two spots within the City of Calgary.
