Growing pains: Facing common challenges, municipalities in capital region can compete or co-operate

In this Edmonton Journal story from May 10, 2013, Elise Stolte looks at the future plans of municipalities in the capital region related to growth.  The population of the region is expected to grow by up to 2 million people in the next forty years, and each town and city has plans for how to accomodate the extra people. Issues of industrial taxes, regional planning and infrastructure are discussed.
