Environment Minister Peter Kent has rejected a Cenovus Energy proposal for a gas project in southern Alberta because the environmental impacts would be too high. As reported here by the CBC, the project - proposed for the CFB Suffield area - would have an impact on wildlife habitat, including habitat for species at risk.
