Land Use 2020 marks the Alberta Land Institute’s fourth land-use conference. This conference program is specifically designed to bring together policy makers, stakeholders, and academics to engage with expert researchers and practitioners from around the world on the use of market-based instruments to conserve biodiversity and ecosystems.  Engage in discussions and powerful presentations that will address and highlight the impacts of biodiversity offsets in policy and practice.  A half-day introduction to offsetting for biodiversity is being offered for both conference attendees and others wanting only the introduction

Connect with students as they showcase their research during the student poster presentation, and take part in a variety of networking opportunities including a Wine & Cheese Reception, tour of the Cave & Basin National Historic Site, or simply embrace the many other activities that the Banff National Park has to offer.
