The Municipal Government Act (MGA) is being updated, and the Alberta Government is seeking input from residents, municipal leaders and business owners. There are three main areas of focus in the MGA:
- Planning & development: How do we build and grow?
- Governance & administration: How are local decisions made?
- Assessment & taxation: How do we pay for services delivered?
