Twelve new projects are being funded through grants from the Government of Alberta's Watershed Resliency and Restoration Program (WRRP). The projects will be completed by groups ranging from municipalities to environmental organizations, and all will focus on flood and drought mitigation. Many projects are located in southern Alberta, but other projects will include the Red Deer and North Saskatchewan watersheds, as well. Full details of the projects can be found here.
