Parks Canada's plan to restrict travel on the Bow Valley Parkway to protect wildlife has been delayed for a year due to construction issues. As explained in this Calgary Herald article, all of the elements required for the plan's implementation were not ready for a spring launch. Plans are now to implement the overnight driving ban in March of 2014.
