Two sawmills in British Columbia will be closing next year, a result of the mountain pine beetle epidemic in the province that decimated large swaths of lodgepole pine forest. As this CBC News report explains, Canfor's Quesnel mill and West Fraser's Houston mill will shut down in March of 2014.
