A Parks Canada project in Banff is looking to reduce the chances of grizzly bear deaths along the busy transportation corridor in the Park. Researchers from the University of Alberta are observing bear behaviour to identify how bears respond to trains and traffic, in the hopes of finding ways to reduce the number of bear deaths.
