More than 200,000 trees are being planted at the Golden Ranches Conservation Area in Strathcona County, in partnership with The Carbon Farmer. The native trees are being planted in an effort to improve wildlife habitat. As this Edmonton Journal article indicates, the previously cleared area being planted is approximately 94 hectares in size.
