fRI's Grizzly Bear Program and Caribou Program, with partners from the University of Saskatchewan and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, are working on research to help protect the at-risk species. Thanks to a $100,000 grant from the Sustainable Forestry Initiative Conservation and Community Partnerships program, the three-year research project will look at how caribou and grizzly bears respond to linear features in a working landscape.
