The Sturgeon River Research Project has released the results of a study they conducted related to the Sturgeon River watershed. According to this article from the St. Albert Gazette, the survey indicated that respondents felt that the Sturgeon River watershed had changed over the years, and were less likely to use the river for recreation. About 66% of respondents felt that a watershed management plan would be very important for the river's future health.
