University of Alberta group with faculty of ALES aimes to connect students and Edmonton's community with their food

This year the Universtiy of Alberta's south campus will feature a Campus Community Garden, where people can help with gardening and growing food. As this article from the Edmonton Examiner describes, the project is supported by the Faculty of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences, the UofA's Sustainability Enhancement Fund and others. Volunteers are welcome, and will participate in activities ranging from planning to building to marketing.
