University of Alberta researchers fish for answers to clean up oilsands water

An inter-disciplinary group of researchers from the University of Alberta are studying the ways fish respond to treated and untreated water from oilsands processes, as reported in this story from the Edmonton Journal. The research involves looking at fish response to different levels of toxicity in the water, and ways that water can be better treated to improve its condition and thereby long-term fish health.
