Reclaimed Urban Farm is a new Edmonton business that plans to grow vegetables on empty urban lots in the city. As described in this Edmonton Journal article, the business owners are hoping to improve access to local food and make use of underused land. Some of the produce will go back to the landowners as payment for use of their land, and the rest will be sold to restaurants and at farmers markets.
