The Alberta Utilities Commission has approved the route for the electircal transmission line set to be built from Genesee to Langdon. As reported by the Edmonton Journal, construction on the line could start as early as January. This is the third of four new lines deemed necessary by the Alberta government, but are opposed as unnecessary by others.
