Wildlife crossings on the highway through the Bow Valley are proving to be effective at reducing the number of vehicle collisions with wildlife. As reported by the Calgary Herald, a newly-released study shows that the crossing near Dead Man's Flats has reduced collisions, injuries and wildlife deaths. Additional locations that could benefit from the crossings are also identified.
