Wolverine study offers unique volunteer opportunity

Researchers from Montana and Alberta are seeking volunteers to assist with a wolvering hair-collection project in the mountain parks. Volunteers are needed to ski into backcountry areas to collect hair samples and set up non-invasive baited hair traps. As this Calgary Herald article explains, the researchers from Montana State University, Parks Canada and the Miistakis Institute are lookin at the status of wolverines in Banff, Yoho and Kootenay parks, and see what impact the TransCanada highway has on their movement.
