Visitors interested in seeing the whooping crane nesting area in Wood Buffalo National Park will be able to do so this summer. As described in this Edmonton Journal article, fly-over tours will be offered on select dates in June and August, as well as a guided helicopter/hike in May. Approximately 80 nesting pairs are expected to be in Wood Buffalo National Park after migrating north from the Gulf Coast.
