At Food Secure Canada's 2012 Assembly, Utcha Sawyers, FoodShare Toronto, described the impressive range of programs that they run to provide access to healthy food to people with low incomes in Toronto. From school lunch programs to mobile market food trucks, FoodShare sources over one third of its food locally from Ontario. Community kitchens, community gardens and food box program are adapted to provide food familiar to immigrant families. FoodShare Toronto is Canada's largest Food Security organization and Food Hub in Canada.
