The National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy has released their report "Canada's opportunity: Adopting life cycle approaches for sustainable development". The report examines the effect that the need for life cycle approaches have on Canadian products and policies. Current approaches used in Canada are reviewed, as well as an examination of the benefits of adopting this type of approach to development. Recommendations are provided for how Canadian companies can prepare for global requirements for life cycle approaches in the future.
