Wayne Roberts, Canadian Food Policy Analyst, offered the keynote address. This Canadian food policy analyst and the author of The No Nonsense Guide to World Food and Food for City Building. Pulling from his experiences with the Toronto Food Policy Council, Wayne Roberts helps create a vision for Alberta’s regional food system. What are the values inherent in such a system (social, environmental, economic, and nutritional/health)? What are the motivators and disruptors to the existing status quo? Can it be sustainable? How do we get there together?
