The National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy (NRTEE) released its latest report in June 2012, entitled Reality check: The state of climate progress in Canada. The report looked at how Canada is doing with regard to meeting emission reduction targets. Based on data from Environment Canada, the NRTEE report concludes that, unless significant new measures are undertaken, the targets will not be met by 2020.
