Building on Clive Welham's presentation on Ecological Resiliency, Ellen Macdonald introduces the criteria and indicators that could be used to measure reclamation progress towards resiliency. Starting with the Sept. 2012 report on Criteria and Indicators Framework for Oil Sands Reclamation Certification, she presents what are criteria and indicators from nattural and managed boreal landscapes. Dr. Macdoanld points to the relationships between landform, soil and vegetation (ultimately reflecting climate).
