From the People's Food Movement in the 1980's to the People's Food Policy in 2005 to the formation of Food Secure Canada, Canada's food movement has organized to deal with access to good, healthy, just food . An example of the challenge: from a temporary food bank in 1981 in Edmonton, food banks have become a cross-Canada solution to chronic hunger. The food movement has work to do.
