Part 2 of 2
Leah Kongsrude, environmental manager for the City of St. Albert, talks about the journey of the Sturgeon River Watershed. She discusses sturgeon river studies that have been completed, such as the St. Albert Water Quality Monitoring 2006-15 and the St Albert Stormwater Grit Interceptor Project.
The Sturgeon River Watershed Alliance and it’s two groups - the steering committee and the advisory committee - are discussed, as well as the work they have completed to date. There are three priority projects they aim to execute: a hydrological review, water quality review, and regional natural areas review.
This presentation was a part of the Sturgeon River Watershed Forum. It was presented by the North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance and the Sturgeon River Watershed Alliance in September of 2015.
